WP Wiles (he/him): WP Wiles was born in India in 1978. He is the author of several novels, including Care of Wooden Floors, which won a Betty Trask Award, and The Last Blade Priest, which won the Red Tentacle for best novel at the 2023 Kitschies. His most recent book is The Anechoic Chamber, a collection of weird tales, published by Salt. The Dead Man’s Empire, a sequel to The Last Blade Priest, will be published in 2026. Rachel Grosvenor (she/her): Rachel Grosvenor is a writer from Birmingham, now based in Wales, with a PhD, MA and BA in Creative Writing. She is the author of The Finery (spotlighted in the Guardian), The Birth of Ida, and Witchborne. When not writing, she is a writing coach and editor for dedicated authors. JM Cyrus (she/her): JM Cyrus writes speculative fiction. With a BA in Classical Studies, an MA in Reception Theory, and currently studying for an MFA in Creative Writing at City St George’s, she enjoys finding new worlds, looking at how she found them, and working out how to show them to you. M S Palmer (he/him): M S Palmer is a Writer living in the North West of England. He works full time as a University administrator and a single parent. His first novel, Lost Talent, a YA contemporary fantasy will be available in April 2026. Follow him on Bluesky, or find out more on his website.

Mark Cantrell (he/him): Mark Cantrell is a UK-based writer and journalist. A Yorkshireman by birth, he was born and bred in Bradford but he currently lives in Stoke-on-Trent. As a jobbing hack, he’s written about England’s social housing industry for nearly 15 years. It’s certainly fuel for a dystopian imagination. Mark is the author of a host of short stories, and two published novels – Citizen Zero (2017) and Silas Morlock (2013) – both published by Inspired Quill. Over the years, his work has appeared in a number of small press ‘zines, on websites, and in multi-author collections. Find out more about Mark on his website. Amelia Roberts (she/her/they/them): Amelia is an emerging writer and freelance editor from Brighton. She has a PhD in Creative and Critical Writing from the University of Sussex, with a thesis on same-sex desire and intimacy in Victor Hugo’s Les Misérables and its adaptations, including fanwork. Her writing has been shortlisted for I Am In Print’s I Am Writing Sci-Fi / Fantasy Competition (2025), Brighton Book Festival’s Emerging Authors Showcase (2025), Aesthetica’s Creative Writing Award (2024), and The Literary Consultancy’s Scholarship for Disabled Writers (2022), among others.
