BFS In-Person Events

In addition to our suite of digital events, the BFS also organises in-person events in certain regions of the UK. We’d be honoured to have you attend.

Please be aware many of our events are run with external partners. Please see event websites for specific details on accessibility and support needs. If you’d like to run an event with the BFS, please get in touch.

Enjoy an evening of gripping storytelling and political turmoil with the British Fantasy Society and Waterstones Reading! Join authors Marvellous Michael Anson, Sarah Mughal Rana, and David Wragg as they chat to moderator Greta Colombani about the intricacies of power, what it takes to stand up against those who have it, and why epic fantasy is so drawn to rebels, underdog heroes, and characters who are ready to fight to reclaim their agency and place in the world, no matter the cost.
