In this workshop we’ll explore what’s important to us about fight scenes, why conflict makes for interesting stories and how we identify what works for us.
Stewart is an award nominated novelist and short story writer who has spent years competing internationally as a sword fighter and designing big battles for thousands of people at the award winning LRP, Curious Pastimes.
The workshop will look at duels, mass battles, weapons, science and magic as well as how meaningful stakes make battles interesting. We’ll also dig into whether fights have to be realistic to make sense. All designed to help you develop your own fights and conflicts in a way that works for you.
The workshop will take place over zoom and will be recorded for catch up viewing by ticket holders.
